Mrs. Sondra S. Beck, 77, of Hamlet, IN, died Friday, April 10, 2015, at Golden Living Center Fountainview in LaPorte.
She was born July 30, 1937, in Hymera, IN, to Gilbert and Hazel (Raley) Zellers.
Sondra was a member of the VFW and American Legion. She loved to go out and listen to karaoke and country music, and loved to spend time with her family and friends. Sondra was a very loving and caring lady.
On Aug. 17, 2002, she married Alfred Beck, who preceded her in death May 25, 2009.
Her parents, one brother and one sister also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheri (Michael) Boller of Rensselaer, IN; four sons, Fred McClelland Jr. of Hamlet, and Kevin McClelland, Greg (Angeline) McClelland and Steve McClelland, all of LaPorte; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Linda Barnhardt of Terre Haute, IN.
The family will receive friends at Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LaPorte, on Tuesday, April 14, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, April 15, from 10 to 11 a.m. A life celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor JoEllyn Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow at Kingsbury Cemetery.
