Ernesto “Ernie” F. Martinez, Jr., 67, of La Porte, Ind. passed away Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020.
He was born Aug. 26, 1953 in Winamac, Ind. to Ernesto, Sr. and Juanita (Gutierrez) Martinez.
Ernesto is survived by daughter, Crystal (Justin) Krueger of La Porte; son, Mario Martinez; grandchildren, Delilah, Lennon, Sawyer, and Atlas Krueger; brothers, Art (Kathy) Martinez of Lafayette, Ind., David Martinez of La Porte, Joe (Shelley) Martinez of Tucson, Ariz., Gerrardo Martinez of Springfield, Mo. and Steve Martinez of La Porte; and sisters, Mary Jane (Mark) Engle of Tucson, Teresa Stacy of Springfield, Maria (Rick) BonDurant of Chesterfield, Mo., Amy (Robert) Zurek of Rolling Prairie, Ind., and Becky (Tom) Howard of La Porte.
Cremation has taken place.
