Brad E. Galloway, 38, of Port Charlotte, FL, died Aug. 10, 2013, at Peace River Regional Medical Center, Port Charlotte.
He was born in LaPorte on Jan. 8, 1975, to Greg and Carol Galloway.
Brad worked as manager for Wright Medical. He was a member of Falcons, VFW Post 1130 and American Legion. He loved outdoor activities, including fishing, snowmobiling, golfing and 4-wheeling.
On Dec. 27, 2011, in Las Vegas, NV, he married Shannon Glossinger, who survives in Port Charlotte.
Also surviving are his stepchildren, Zachery, Gabrielle and Olivia Winslett, all of LaPorte; his father and stepmother, Gregory and Sandra Galloway of Union Mills, IN; his mother and stepfather, Carol and Ed Semla of Warsaw, IN; two sisters, Tara (Chris) Shifflett of Winchester, VA, and Reily Galloway; two brothers, Hayden and Carter Galloway; stepbrother, Rob Semla of LaPorte; grandmothers, June Galloway of LaPorte and Lorraine Semla of Michigan City, IN; two nieces, Eva and Sophia Shifflett; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl Galloway Sr. and Ralph and Jean Heise, and uncle, Dave Heise.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, LaPorte, with Rev. Jim Mandeville officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service. Cremation has taken place.
