Diana Elizabeth Thompson, 65, of La Porte, Ind., passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in her home.
She was born Aug. 10, 1955, to James and Joan (Berry) Pate and was raised in San Pierre, Ind.
A life on earth complete but now entering into an eternity with her Savior. Diana loved the Lord and people. Life was not always easy but she pushed on, trusting in the promise of eternal life.
Diana attended church and hosted Bible studies. She loved gardening, flowers, watching fireworks, being outdoors, and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. Diana was loved dearly by her family and friends.
She leaves behind her three children, Michelle (Chad) Conrad of La Porte, Frank Doughty of Logansport, Ind., and Johnathon Miller of La Porte; and five grandchildren, Jaden, Jillian, Jaxon and Jace Conrad, and Sahara Doughty.
Her parents preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, La Porte, with Pastor Nate Loucks officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the service. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek, Ind., at a later date.
