Roger Mullins, 72, of La Porte, Ind., passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at his home with his family by his side.
He was born Feb. 19, 1948, in Grayson, Ky., to Carlos and Mamie (Vanhoose) Mullins.
Roger was a Vietnam Veteran who honorably served his country in the United States Army. He loved to make people laugh. Roger had a big heart and offered his help to everyone in need.
On Oct. 6, 1971, he married Charleen (Geren) Mullins, who survives.
Also surviving are his two sons, Richard (Stacy) Mullins and Dennis Fall, both of La Porte; daughter, Trish Mullins of Utah; six brothers, James, Charles, John, Mike, Tim, and Jim; two sisters, Berneda and Debbie; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother; sister, Carol; and brother, Larry.
Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life for Roger will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at First Pentecostal Church, 1930 Boyd Blvd., La Porte. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, La Porte, is handling arrangements.
