Nicholas Rade Bubalo, 51, of La Porte, Ind. passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020 at his home.
He was born Dec. 20, 1968 in Chicago, Ill. to Michael R. and Sharon M. (Charnote) Bubalo.
Nicholas was a proud Union Iron Worker of Local 395. A Slicer, Nick graduated from La Porte High School in 1987. He enjoyed the great outdoors, nature, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. Nick was also an avid Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, and Cubs fan.
Survivors include son, Michael (Alexis) Bubalo of La Porte; future grandson, Nicholas Bubalo (due to arrive Nov. 2); father, Michael, of La Porte; siblings James (Kathy) Pedretti of La Porte, Michael Pedretti of La Porte, Lisa (Marc) Schoof of La Porte, and John Bubalo of La Porte; longtime companion, Allison Klement of La Porte; life-long buddy, Tony Bernacchi of La Porte; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, where a celebration of life memorial service will follow at 1 p.m.
Due to the recent governor’s order, attendees are required to wear a mask.
