Sue Ann Wroblewski, 1948-2020

Sue Ann Wroblewski, 72, of La Porte, Ind. passed away Monday, Sept. 7, 2020 at Center for Hospice Care in South Bend, Ind.

She was born Jan. 26, 1948 in La Porte to Jess R. and Mary A. (Eskridge) Galloway.

On May 27, 1967, in La Porte, she married Edward J. Wroblewski.

A lifelong resident of La Porte, Sue was a member of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and also worked part-time for 20 years at her husband’s business, Ed’s Auto Body, and provided day care for over 35 years. Sue was a past member of La Porte Falcons, where she held the office of vice president and auditor, and of the PNA and the PRCU. She also bowled for over 35 years and held the office of league president and league delegate. Sue enjoyed reading and crocheting.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Galloway; sons, Michael (Shannon) Wroblewski of Rolling Prairie, Ind., David Matthew Wroblewski, Sr.of La Porte, and Nathan Christopher Wroblewski of Westville, Ind.; grandchildren, David (Taylor) Wroblewski, Jr. of Westville, Jake Wroblewski and Noah Wroblewski of Rolling Prairie; brother, Roger (Linda ) Galloway of La Porte; and sister, Janice (Tim) Whiteman, La Porte.

Preceding her in death was her husband on March 6, 2019.

A graveside service and interment of cremated remains will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 at Patton Cemetery, La Porte, with Pastor Carl Galloway officiating. Attendees are asked to please bring a mask to the service and practice social distancing.

Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, is handling the arrangements.
