Amber Rose Goff, 28, of La Porte, Ind. passed from this life Friday, Aug. 28, 2020 into the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She was born July 15, 1992 in Buffalo, Minn. to James and Johnna (Toenjes) Zitzloff.
Amber was a special young lady who lived life to the fullest that she possibly could, usually with a smile.
On Feb. 10, 2016, in Fayetteville, N.C. she married her best friend and soulmate, Jeffery Goff. Jeff has been there through many of her health issues and has been one of her biggest fans and encouragers.
Survivors include her husband, of La Porte; parents, of Sanford, N.C.; brothers, Nick and Lucas Zitzloff, both of Sanford; father- and mother-in-law, Bruce and Penny Goff of La Porte; her foster family/foster parents, Chad and Jennifer Fileks of Maple Lake, Minn.; foster sisters, Stephanie, Hannah and Kassy Fileks, all of Maple Lake, Minn.; foster brother, Ryan Filek of Fort Bragg, N.C.; and her fur baby, Diesel.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6 at Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100, where a funeral celebrating her life will follow at 5 p.m. with Deryl Veach officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Augusta, Minn.
