Felix G. Gonzales, 67, of La Porte, Ind. passed away suddenly Wednesday, July 29, 2020.
He was born July 17, 1953 in Tipton County, Ind. to Edwardo and Eloisa (Guzman) Gonzales. He was employed with Fenn Valley Vineyards Winery in Michigan for many years. He served in the United States Army.
On July 18, 1990 Felix married Ruth Navarro, who survive. Also surviving are children, Elizabeth Gonzales, Jeremias Gonzales and Esther Gonzales, all of La Porte, and Augustine Alegria, Crystal Garza, and Elias Garza; grandchildren, Alex Jr., Erika, Gabriel, Xavier, Alianna, Angelina, Jolee, Augustine Jr., Israel, Deseray, Sophia, Raynard Jr., Brooklynn, Aryanna, Brandan Jr., Maya, and Iyana; great-grandchildren, Emiliano, Nevean, and A’mora; sisters, Graviela Loredo and Maria Ivarro; and brother, Edwardo Gonzales.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Elida Guzman.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Ave., La Porte, Ind., where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor Ricky Bray officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery with military honors.
