Joan H. Borg 91, of La Porte, Ind. passed away Friday, April 17, 2020.
She was born Jan. 22, 1929 in La Porte to Hubert V. and Dorothy (Blakeman) Borg. Joan was employed with NIPSCO for many years as a bookkeeper and later with Berkel, (formerly The US Slicing Machine Company). She was an avid bowler on the senior and ladies’ leagues in La Porte and also enjoyed golfing.
Joan is survived by her sister, Barbara D. Borg and sister-in-law, Rose M. Peer both of Sarasota, Fla., and a sister-in-law, JoAnn Borg of La Porte. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Marilouise Arndt; and a brother, Hubert J. Borg, all of La Porte.
Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte is handling the arrangements. Burial will be at Pine Lake Cemetery.
