Sharon A. Conley, 75, of LaPorte, passed away peacefully at 9:22 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2018, in her home.
She was born March 30, 1943, in LaPorte, Indiana, to Alfred and Gertrude (Poor) Dolohery.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, GiGi, and animal lover.
On Dec. 21, 1966, in LaPorte, Indiana, she married Wesley M. Conley, who survives.
Also surviving are four children, Jim Bluhm of Michigan City, Kenneth (Natalie) Conley of Crown Point, Rebecca Conley-Masters of New Carlisle and David (Patti) Bluhm of Valparaiso; two sisters, Katherine Joan (Bill) Kammler of Terre Haute and Mary Ruth Laymon of LaPorte; one brother, Alfred “Ted” (Judy) Dolohery of LaPorte; 10 grandchildren, Erin, Alexis, Nicholas, Kristopher, McKenna, Samantha, Ashlyn, Aidan, Riley, and Parker; one great-granddaughter, Audri; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beloved dog, Haly.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters, Margaret Hamilton and Patricia Thate; and her beloved three dogs, Sparky, Mack and Addison.
A funeral celebrating her life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, LaPorte, with Chaplain Patricia Ciupek officiating. Visitation and viewing will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, and from 10 a.m. until the service Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte.
