David Roger Ingram, 71, of LaPorte, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at IU Health LaPorte Hospital.
He was born Jan. 26, 1944, in LaPorte to David G. and Olive M. (Wright) Ingram.
David was a graduate of LaPorte High School, Class of 1962. Shortly after graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving in Germany and Libya. He retired from New York Blower after 35 years.
He is survived by his loving companion of 31 years, Shelia Kolar of LaPorte; two daughters, Wendy Ingram and Rosemary Alexander, both of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Seth, Trew, Rayne and Claudia Rose; one sister, Mary H. (Jim Madison) Keehn of LaPorte; and one brother, Thomas A. Ingram of LaPorte.
David was preceded in death by his parents.
David requested that there be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LaPorte, is handling arrangements.
