Marcia Jean Quallich, 89, of LaPorte, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at The Arbors in Michigan City, IN.
She was born Aug. 6, 1925, in Hammond, IN, to Edwin and Glada E. (Elliot) Spoerner. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, Margaret and Edward Petersen.
Marcia worked as a registered nurse for Dr. Mannion’s and Dr. Kerr’s offices.
On Dec. 14, 1945, she married William Arthur Quallich, who preceded her in death.
Her parents also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her daughters, Sue (Bob) Braden and Gaye Ogle, both of LaPorte; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, LaPorte, on Monday, May 18, from 11 a.m. to noon. A private family service will follow and interment will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte.
