Pamela Maris Johnson, 70, of LaPorte, died peacefully at 3:09 a.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Franciscan St. Anthony Health Hospital in Michigan City, IN.
She was born June 23, 1944, in Chicago to George and Geraldine (Campbell) Thomas.
Pamela loved cooking, sewing, working puzzles and shopping for a bargain. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Surviving are one son, James Michael Johnson of LaPorte; one granddaughter, Emily (Patrick McKee) Lane Johnson of Michigan City; one great-granddaughter, Sadie Lynn McKee; and grandpuppies, Mya and Maci.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Dean Thomas.
Cremation will take place. There will be no services. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, LaPorte, is handling arrangements.
