Mr. Robert J. Erickson, 61, of Michigan City, IN, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, at his home.
He was born Nov. 25, 1953, in LaPorte to John G. Sr. and Joan R. (McCormick) Erickson.
Robert had worked at Lewis Bakery for 35 years. He loved his family dearly, especially his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his five sisters, Shirley (John) Million of LaPorte, Diana (Ron) Naccarato of Dunedin, FL, Susan (James) Hewitt of LaPorte, Patricia (Mark) Harper of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Sharon (Douglas) Winn of Lehigh Acres, FL; brother, Dan Erickson of Kingsbury, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John G. Erickson Jr. and Larry Erickson.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service, and burial of ashes at Rolling Prairie Cemetery, will take place at a later date. Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LaPorte, is handling arrangements.
