Clifford Eugene “Wolffie” Wolff, 61, of LaPorte, died Friday, Nov. 7, 2014, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in Michigan City, IN.
He was born March 3, 1953, in North Liberty, IN, to Clifford E. and Thelma Viola (Singleton) Wolff.
Clifford served his country honorably in the United States Army at a very young age. He later worked at Angelo Bernacchi Greenhouses and Teledyne Casting for 19 years. He most recently worked as a landscaper at H&S Services for his dear friends, Rob and Angie Hugley, and their sons. Clifford was a jack of all trades who could fix anything except his own car.
On March 17, 1992, he married Donna Thatcher, who survives.
Also surviving are his beloved children, Christopher (Lori) Wolff, Monica Wolff-Gerhart, Laura Cunningham and Anthony (Michelle) Gasaway Sr.; grandchildren, Destinee, Harley, Emma, Brittanie, Tyler, Anthony Jr., Charles, Austin, Shyann, Petie, and Shawn; great-grandson, Hayden; four siblings, Lewis Hostetler, Lois (Jack) Lovitt, Linda Perry and Carol Scott-Lake; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Louetta Blakely, Lonnie Hostetler and Leon Hostetler; and a sister-in-law, Judith Hostetler.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 4 p.m. at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, LaPorte, with Pastor James Bouslog officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the service. A cremation committal will take place.
