She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Withee, who was killed in Vietnam on July 4, 1969.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, LaPorte, on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Evan Lash officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 7, from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
