Adam Lee Brashear, 29, of Rolling Prairie, IN, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at his home.
He was born Oct. 18, 1984, in Pontiac, MI, to Daniel Brashear and Sandra (Smith) Nowatzke and lived in this area his entire life.
Adam was a self-employed certified mechanic. He loved spending time with his son, Cameron, and helping his family and friends whenever they needed him. He loved working on vehicles, fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He was a member of Rolling Prairie American Legion.
He leaves behind his mother and father; two sisters, Ashley (Zac) Richard of LaPorte and Alexandria Brashear of Michigan City, IN; one son, Cameron Brashear of LaPorte; paternal grandparents James and Mercedes Brashear of LaPorte and maternal grandmother Barbara Smith of Three Oaks, MI; one niece and one nephew; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Clyde Lee Smith.
There will be no visitation or service. Cremation will take place. Essling Funeral Home, LaPorte, is handling arrangements.
