Robert Hough, 95, of La Porte, Ind., passed away Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021.
He was born July 20, 1926, in La Porte to Delbert and Mary (Mannia) Hough.
Robert retired from Modine Manufacturing in La Porte with over 40 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion Post 83, PRCU and PNA, all in La Porte.
Robert is survived by his children, Mari Helen Justice of La Porte, Andrea Buckman of La Porte, Robert William Hough of La Porte, Thomas Hough of Jacksonville, Fla., and Steven Hough of Michigan City, Ind.; grandchildren, Douglas (Jennifer) Hill II, Katrina (April) Prezybylski, Jami (Randy) Culp, Robert (Akane) Letzen, Allie (Becky Pulver) Justice, Sarah (Micah) Spitzmesser, Casey (Jason) Buzzes, Cory (Hannah Newman) Hough, Allyson (Heather Melnyk) Kazmucha, and Matthew (Ashley) Kazmucha; and many great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, at American Legion Post 83, La Porte. Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, La Porte, is handling arrangements.
