Adam Fedorowicz, 1953-2021

Adam Fedorowicz, 67, a resident of La Porte, Ind., for 40 years, formerly of Olesnica, Poland, passed away unexpectedly at 5:55 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, in La Porte.

He was born Sept. 23, 1953, in Olesnica to Wladyslaw and Stanislawa (Kostka) Fedorowicz.

Adam was a CNC operator for Electro Corporation, Kingsbury, Ind., for 22 years. He enjoyed collecting antiques and coins, watching old movies, visiting the beach, attending Chicago blues festivals, and traveling to Poland. Adam was funny, intelligent, generous and always smiling. He never was the type to complain. His family is devastated by his loss and will deeply and greatly miss him.

Surviving from Poland are his brother, Wladyslaw (Ewa) Fedorowicz; two sisters, Danuta Hunka and Irena (Grzegorz) Kozak; brother-in-law, Roman Dolegowska; nieces, Urszula Cepuch-Szymanowicz, Anna Leonowicz, Agnieszka Piskorek and Barbara Wozniak; nephews, Krzysztof Kozak and Dawid Fedorowicz; and from Chicago, Ill., cousin, Wioletta Beata (Jakub) Owsiany; goddaughter and niece, Patricia (Stefan) Zaharinov; and nephew, David Owsiany.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Teresa Dolegowska; and nephew, Michael Owsiany.

A funeral celebrating his life will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, La Porte. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the service at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in Poland at a later date. Burial will take place at Cmentarz Komunalny in Olesnica, Poland.
