William “Bill” Fletcher Brown, 64, of La Porte, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021.
He was born Aug. 11, 1956, in Valparaiso, Ind., to Wallace and Marlene Brown.
Bill was a project estimator for 47 years at Midwest Service Center. He enjoyed cruises, camping, time outdoors, traveling, sightseeing, and spending time with his wife, son, family and friends. He also loved his dog, Sissy Sue.
On July 7, 1978, in Valparaiso, Ind., he married Linda Blasko, who survives.
Also surviving are his son, Stephen (Beth) Brown of Mill Creek, Ind.; siblings, George (Georgene) Brown of Scottsdale, Ariz., Theresa (Bryan) Cannon of Kouts, Ind., and Stephanie (Stan) Diekmann of Millers Creek, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the service Monday, Feb. 15, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Meyer officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
Due to the recent governor’s order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask and practice social distancing of six feet.
