Theresa Bernacki, 56, of 406 Oberreich St., La Porte, IN, passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2020.
She was born Nov. 5, 1963, in La Porte to Fred William and Ruth A. (Bailey) Bernacki.
Theresa graduated from La Porte High School. She was Manager at the La Porte Community Credit Union for 15 years and an assistant manager at 7-11. She loved her fur babies. She had such an outgoing personality, always happy to see people and get to know them. Some people thought she was rough and had a tendency to be loud, and she would tell you what she thought, but she never meant it in a mean way. She was a generous person, helping whenever she could. She will be greatly missed.
Theresa is survived by her brother, Brian Bernacki; nephews, Brian, Matthew and Derek; niece, Abbie Gonzales; two great-nephews; and her best friend, Diane Childress.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jeffrey A. Bernacki.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be announced. Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, La Porte, is handling arrangements.
