Marjorie (Johnson) Otter, 77, of North Webster, Ind. passed away peacefully at 6:41 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2020 at Canterbury Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born April 27, 1943 in South Bend, Ind. to Albert and Harriet (Cochran) Johnson.
On Feb. 21, 1970 in Rolling Prairie, Ind. she married Charles Otter.
Marjorie worked for Sam’s Club in the shipping and receiving department. She was an avid gardener, liked to fish, and liked to make quilts. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include son, Scott Reiter of Warsaw, Ind.,; daughter, Sue-Ellen Gest of Warsaw; step-children, Becky Adams of Missoula, Mo. and Melinda (Christopher) Cox of Tucson, Ariz.; brothers, Darrell (Sharon) Johnson of LaPorte, Ind. and Dennis (Marsha) Johnson of Richmond, Va.; sisters, Loretta Meyer of Lansing, Mich. and Ester Cart of Elkhart, Ind.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son, Shawn Eric Reiter; her parents; and one brother.
Services and interment will be private.
McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
