Marcella Fay Levandoski, 78, of Taylorsville, Ky. passed away Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020 at Norton Women and Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
She was born Aug. 18, 1942 in La Porte, Ind. to Ernest and Gladys (Stombaugh) Bracken.
On April 24, 1986 in Charleston, S.C. she married Jeffrey Levandoski.
Marcella worked as a supervisor for Scott Foresman in La Porte for many years before moving in 2000 to Taylorsville, Ky. with her husband. Marcella was a sports junkie who loved all sports, especially IU football and basketball, Cubs baseball, Cincinnati Reds and Louisville Cardinals. When the Olympics came on, forget about watching anything else!
Survivors include her husband; sons, Christopher Levandoski of Camp David, Penn. and Shaun (Julie) Levandoski of Greer, S.C.; daughter, Beth Ann (Dennis) Smeaton of Taylorsville; grandchildren, CJ Levandoski, Jordan Bracken Smeaton, Savannah Smeaton, Jarrett Bracken Smeaton, Ian Levandoski, and Reis Levandoski; nephews, Mark (Donna) Bracken of Mill Creek, Ind. and Kevin (Ginger) Bracken of La Porte; and sister, Darlene (Chuck) Cusick of La Porte.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; and nephew, Brandon Surma.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 3 at Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, where a life celebration will be held at noon. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek, Ind.
