Patricia A. Simpson, 88, passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2020 at Hamilton Communities.
She was born March 13, 1932 in Mishawaka, Ind. to Norman and Margaret (Walterhouse) Nicholas.
On April 17, 1954 in Walkerton, Ind. she married Walter Simpson.
Patricia was a homemaker. She was a member of the La Porte congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Patricia enjoyed baking, traveling, and spending time in her volunteer ministry work.
Survivors include her children, Reathel A. Simpson of Mill Creek, Ind. and Patricia A. (James) Curlin of Fort Worth, Tex.; grandchildren, Paige, Garrett, Caleb, Zachary, Irene, Devin, Hannah, and Sarah; great-grandchildren, John, Charlie, Olivia, and Clark; siblings, Billy (Theresa) Nicholas of Arizona, Dale Nicholas of Michigan City, Ind. John (Wanda) Nicholas of Mill Creek, and Dick Nicholas of Michigan City; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Gary Alan Simpson; and brothers, David, Donald, and Harold (Jeanette) Nicholas.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3 on ZOOM (Meeting ID: 83864546400, Password: 310108).
