Anna M. Cascio, 90, of La Porte, Ind. passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020 at Golden Living Center in La Porte.
She was born Oct. 27, 1929 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Anthony Leonti and Carmella (Bisognano) Leonti.
Anna loved spending time doing embroidery. She was an animal lover but her passion in life was her love for her family.
In 1960 she married Alfred M. Cascio, who preceded her in death Jan. 8, 2004.
Survivors include sons, Anthony Cascio of Logansport, Ind. and Patrick (Fran) Cascio of Fort Myers, Fla.; daughters, Allison Cascio of Ft Myers, Alana (Jim) Maloney of Fort Myers, and Ruth (James) Sickman of Walkerton, Ind.; sister, Mary Howard of Syracuse, N.Y.; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Jesse Leonti and Rose Leonti, and brother, Horace Leonti.
Visitation will from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Ind., where a life celebration will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Hospice Chaplain Missy Buche officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery.
