Brian Michael Riley, 52, passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 22, 2020 at his home.
He was born Dec. 26, 1967 in Kansas City, Mo. and was raised by his parents, Terry and Anna Mae Riley.
Brian attended St. Mary of the Lake School in New Buffalo, Mich., graduated from New Buffalo High School in 1986, and attended Columbia College in Chicago, Ill. He worked at United Fixtures, Capital Hardware in Niles, Mich. Brian enjoyed gaming and going to the movies. He was a connoisseur of pizza and loved spending time with Ann, Megan and their fur babies.
Brian fought serious health problems for many years but was always positive and kept his sense of humor. He was blessed to have so many wonderful doctors and nurses giving him help, guidance, and encouragement, as well as Dunes Hospice helping to make his transition with as much comfort and dignity as possible.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ann Marie (Carpenter) Riley; daughter, Megan Riley; and father.
Preceding him in death was his mother.
A celebration of his life will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 at Creek Ridge County Park, 7943 W. CR-400 North, Michigan City, Ind. Cremation has taken place.
