Nicholas Lliteras, 20, of LaPorte, died unexpectedly at 5:57 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013, in his home.
He was born Dec. 12, 1993, in Toledo, OH, to Richard and Lisa (Metz) Lliteras.
Nicholas lived in Perrysburg, OH, and worked in sales for Sears. He had attended St. Joseph Catholic School, LaPorte. Nicholas enjoyed music, skateboarding, cooking and playing video games, and was a fan of the Detroit Lions, Tigers and Chicago Bulls. He was a proud uncle and loved his entire family.
Surviving are his parents, Richard and Lisa Lliteras of Perrysburg, OH; one sister, Ashley Lliteras of LaPorte; future brother-in-law, Eric Gaunt of LaPorte; one niece, Amelia Gaunt of LaPorte; grandmother, Rita Lliteras; grandfather, William Metz; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death were one younger brother, Mathew William; one grandmother, Barbara Metz; and one grandfather, John “Jack” Lliteras.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, LaPorte, with Rev. Kevin Huber officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 27, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
