Rodney Dale Williams, 65, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at La Porte Hospital and Health Services, La Porte, Ind.
Rodney was born on June 27, 1954 in Chicago, Ill. to Wilbur and Jennie (Simpson) Williams.
On March 29, 1982 in Union City, Tenn. he married Maureen Bell.
Surviving are his children, Teresa (Travis) Vinson of La Porte, Kevin Williams of New Carlisle, Ind. and Cynthia (Zeth) Wolfenbarger of La Porte; five grandchildren, Kevin, Xavier, Ayrianna and Jayden Vinson, all of La Porte, and Alexis Williams of New Carlisle; siblings, Shirley Coots and Debbie Garcia, both of Channahon, Ill., and Russ Williams of Sardis, Tenn.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and brother, Mike McCall.
Rodney was a laborer for many years at Alpha Bakery. He enjoyed playing pool, listening to music, relaxing in front of the TV, tinkering with his car, and taking long drives. Most importantly, Rodney enjoyed spending time with grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family viewing will be held.
