Ann Catherine Riedstra, 80, of Rolling Prairie, Ind. passed away on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020 at Franciscan Health, Michigan City, Ind. surrounded by family.
Ann was born on Aug. 7, 1939 in Chicago, Ill., to Bernard and Jennie (DeVries) Lenters.
On Feb. 25, 1956 in Oaklawn, Ill., she married James Ronald, who preceded her in death. Surviving are her children, Kathleen (Paul) McGowan of La Porte, Jim (Laura) Riedstra of St. John, Ind., Ron (Alice) Riedstra of La Porte, and Bob (Tracey) Riedstra of La Porte; six grandchildren, Ryan Northrop, Valerie Kaminski, Matthew (Jessie) Riedstra, James (Kara) Riedstra II, Jennifer Riedstra and Kelly Bolton; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents, husband, and brother, Bob Lenters.
Ann was a dietary technician for 20 years at Hamilton Grove. She was very involved in her church. Ann enjoyed playing solitaire and making dolls.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15 at Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday with Pastor JoEllyn Chadwick officiating. Burial will follow at Rolling Prairie Cemetery.
