Brenda Kay Taylor, 63, of La Porte, IN, passed away unexpectedly at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, at La Porte Hospital.
She was born Feb. 25, 1956, in La Porte to Will and Gloria (Doyle) Taylor.
Brenda was an avid television watcher who enjoyed watching and rooting for her Cubs.
Surviving are her two sisters, Amy (Alejandro “Alex”) Garcia and Lauri White, both of La Porte; three brothers, Jess (Regina) Levendoski and Jon (Hazel) Levendoski of La Porte and William (Emmie) Taylor of Bostic, NC; five nieces, Samantha (Timothy) Maesch, Amanda (Michael) Burgess, Elizabeth Taylor, Carrie Levendoski and Angela Levendoski; four nephews, Christian Garcia, James Taylor, Christopher Levendoski and Eric Levendoski; lifetime best friend, Debra Ott; and several great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Preceding her in death were her mother; maternal grandparents, Raymond U. and Flossie Doyle; two aunts, Barbara Mandeville and Norma Bishop; and one uncle, Raymond C. Doyle.
Cremation will take place. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, La Porte, is handling arrangements.
