Richard Lynn Hostetler, 72, of New Carlisle, IN, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, at his residence.
He was born March 17, 1947, in La Porte, IN, the son of James and Thelma (Wiltfong) Hostetler.
Richard was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and the VFW, and served his country in the Army. Richard always loved to camp and has been at the Last Resort Campground since 1999, where he enjoyed doing maintenance around the campground.
In 1985, Richard married Sharon (Krueger) Hostetler, who survives.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, James and Thelma (Wiltfong) Hostetler.
Cremation has taken place at Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, La Porte. Interment will follow at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery.
