Patricia Ann Fogus, 68, of LaPorte, IN, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, at home surrounded by her family.
She was born Sept. 24, 1950, in Bucyrus, OH, to Darrell and Ura (Tharp) Young.
Patricia was a member of Full Gospel Church in Michigan City, IN. She enjoyed camping, golf, volleyball, darts, bowling, and being around her family and grandchildren.
On June 28, 1969, in Michigan City, she married John Fogus, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Tammy (Cruz) Ramirez of Michigan City, Tracy (David Jr.) Caldwell of Wheatfield, IN, and Tonya (James) Rasmussen of Michigan City; four brothers, James (Setsuko) Young, Earnest (Esther) Young, Robert (Janice) Young and Larry (Diane) Young; one sister, Gloria (Carl) Angel; seven grandchildren, Adam, Kevin, Ryan, Steven, Rebecca, Matthew, and Jessica; one great-grandson, Dallas Hugley; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; three sisters, Barbara Spurlock, Alva Wellman and Mary Ward; one brother; John Young; and one great-grandson; Jacobi Hugley.
A funeral celebrating her life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, LaPorte, with Pastor Dennis Pickens officiating. Visitation and viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Springville Cemetery, LaPorte.
