Larrie Kay Richie, 76, of Mill Creek, IN, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019.
She was born Dec. 20, 1942, in LaPorte, IN, to Carl and Isabelle (Mosier) Hartz.
Kay was a homemaker.
On July 20, 1968, Kay married Van Richie, who survives.
Kay is also survived by her children, Steve Hartz of LaPorte, Susan Pigott of Indianapolis, Laura Bianco of LaPorte, and Ryan (Diane) Richie of LaPorte; grandchildren, Jake Pigott, Tyler Richie, Dustin Scherer and Madelyn Richie; and a brother, John (Diane) Hartz of LaPorte.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jim Hartz; and a grandson, Blake Richie.
Visitation will be held from noon to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, LaPorte. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek, IN.
