Barbara Evans, 71, of Michigan City, IN, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, at 1:49 p.m. in her home.
She was born Aug. 6, 1947, in Fort Wayne, IN.
Barbara was a baker at Hearthside Foods until her retirement. She was a member of the Fish and Game Club.
Surviving are two children, Daniel (Loretta) Evans and Jimmy (Kelli) Evans, and several grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at American Legion Post 37, 756 Highway 20, Michigan City. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, LaPorte, is handling arrangements.
