Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, LaPorte, is handling the arrangements for Gerald Dean Daniel Banks, 76, of Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018.
He was born July 19, 1941, in Chicago Heights, Illinois, to Paul Henry and Gladys Amanda (Pauling) Banks.
Gerald is survived by his sister, Diane J. Noe of LaPorte, Indiana, and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul Monty Banks.
Gerald served his country in the United States Army. He was a gentle soul. There is joy in the homecoming between Gerald, his parents and brother now that they are all together again.
Private burial will take place at a later date. Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, LaPorte, is handling arrangements.
