Margaret Helen Cattron, 87, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017.
She was born April 12, 1930, in LaPorte to Vincent and Mary Louise (Ueding) Haag.
Margaret was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Kitchen Kin Club in LaPorte.
On June 4, 1949, Margaret married Royce Gene Cattron, who survives with their children, John Cattron of Utica, New York, Theresa Bailey of LaPorte and Connie (Ken) Dickson of LaPorte; grandchildren, Samantha (Jason) Parmley, Danielle (Jeremy) Case and Adam (Jennifer) Bailey; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Minich, and a brother, Vincent Haag.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 31, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, LaPorte, where a parish rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in LaPorte, with burial to follow in Patton Cemetery, LaPorte. Family and friends may gather at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home prior to the Mass.
