Linda Delores (Tilden) Huff died peacefully on Feb. 20, 2017.
Education was a vital part of Linda’s life. She received her B.S. degree in Education from Ball State University and continued to get her master’s degree in Education from Indiana University. She worked as an elementary school teacher along with serving as a military wife for 27 years.
The family wants to thank Arbor Springs of West Des Moines for the wonderful care they provided to Linda over the years.
Linda is survived by her children, Susan McNamer of Des Moines, IA, and Andrew (Mary Jo) Huff of Temecula, CA; grandchildren, Brooke McNamer, Brice McNamer and Alexa Huff; great-grandson, Carson; and brother, Byron Tilden of LaPorte, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Elizabeth Tilden.
A funeral service took place Feb. 24 at West Des Moines Christian Church, West Des Moines, IA. Cremation has taken place and interment of ashes will take place at a later date with a private family service at Hanna Cemetery, Hanna, IN.
