Randy Lee Everly, 51, died unexpectedly Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, IN.
He was born Aug. 29, 1963, in LaPorte to LeRoy A. Everly and Carol (Wozniak) Freyer.
Randy was a truck driver for Sycamore Specialized Carriers, Fort Wayne. He had been a past member of the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department. Randy enjoyed mechanics and loved to work on his truck.
Surviving are his mother, Carol Freyer of Michigan City, IN; three brothers, Bryan (Kathy) Brownlee of LaPorte, Larry (Olga) Brownlee of Mill Creek, IN, and Tom (Mary) Freyer of Michigan City; three sisters, Cindy (Edward) Rick of Fort Wayne, Sheila Mendez of LaPorte and Dawn Brownlee of Lafayette, IN; his beloved cousin, Sandy Everly Dangerfield; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his father, LeRoy Everly, his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandparents.
A funeral celebrating his life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, LaPorte, with Pastor Kim Allen Cole officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery, LaPorte.
