Karen Mae Dolph, 75, of Michigan City, IN, died peacefully at 12:04 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Hospice Franciscan Communities in Michigan City.
She was born Sept. 26, 1939, in Michigan City to Arthur and Susie (Krueger) Menke.
Karen found joy in her life through her husband, children and grandchildren.
On June 24, 1958, in Hernando, Mississippi, she married Leroy Dolph, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Donna (Leon Young) Dolph of Lakewood, CO, and Dawn (Shannon) West and Rhonda (Joe) Novak, both of LaPorte; four sons, Mark (Marion) and Thomas (Lisa) Dolph, both of Michigan City, and Ron and Robert Dolph, both of LaPorte; 16 grandchildren, Mark Dolph Jr., Brett, Kailynn, Thomas, Kristen, Leighton, Nicholas, and Hayden Dolph, Gabrielle, Ethan, Olivia, and Preston West, Shelby Young, Joe Novak Jr., Zachary, and Lorelei Novak; and four great-grandchildren, Hayley, Malakai, Damien and Anthony Dolph.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two sisters, Ruth Butler and Dorothy Will.
Private family services will be held. Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, LaPorte, is handling arrangements.
